Reverend Jeremiah Wright
Amen!
For at least a little over a decade, it's been rare that an American speaker has made sense and supported justice in his or her speeches. Finally, a true role-model from the United States, Reverend Wright gets out there and tells everybody the truth. He's not lying. He's not doing anything wrong. He's simply being just, and he's taking advantage of his rights to free speech as an American citizen. When Hillary finally stops buzzing around the ear of democracy like an annoying mosquito, it would be nice if America would allow the reverend to be Obama's run-mate. By the way, please don't criticize me until you've seen Reverend Wright's entire speech. I'm sick of listening to moronic people slam true American heros without a good reason for it. This means stop dissing what my country stands for. That means republicans, some self-proclaimed "conservatives" and Hillary supporters! Go watch this guy and learn something. Please open your narrow minds and try to understand something that makes sense for a change. I'm not being specific here, I know. That's mostly because I'm tired. I'll be more specific later but I feel like eating and watching TV right now. Go ahead, pick on me for it because I'm not wearing a flag-pin either.

DURCH SCHNIEDEN: WORKING TITLE
My new film, which should be complete within about a month, will be a short and artistic piece of cinema. It could certainly be categorized as a "thriller" type of movie, but I'm not a fan of that kind of classification, even though I have to admit it helps sometimes. It should be hitting the web around late April to mid-May, depending on how fast production goes. So far we're off to a good start though!
First, I should say I have decided that it will be in German. I will make subtitled versions for various languages though, including English of course. I don't speak German, but I decided that it had a certain dialect that would contribute to the mood I envision for the film. From my experience listening to the language, I would describe German as bitter-sounding, blaring, or earsplitting and brutal. Still though, considering its raging jaggedness, it remains satisfying in a way, like satisfying some passionately destructive urge, but through speaking. Anyway, I should be able to achieve production through studying the language online a little, listening to German music, watching German films and participating in other assorted fun-filled German activities!
Although the image from the film (shown above) may look violent to you, this will not be a primarily violent motion picture by any means. This picture is a frame from a surreal dream sequence that appears in the film for less than less than one second, plus the majority of the sequence is so distorted than no person would be able to recognize what it it could possibly be a shot of. On the other hand, this is not a happy movie. I would not recommend it for people offended or negatively affected by the excessive display of frightening and disturbing imagery.
Many of my greatest artistic inspirations have dramatically influenced this piece. French New Wave cinema, especially those films by Jean-Luc Godard, have had a tremendous impact on my style and technique. The philosophical undertones of this movie are shaped by my admiration for Friedrich Nietzsche, particularly in respect to his comments on psychological captivity. This is hardly even beginning to list all of the people and things that have affected this short film. I'll just say that it the list includes, but is not limited to, bizarre avant-garde cinema.
Referring back to Godard, he is probably one of the main reasons that this will be a style-oriented motion picture, rather than focused on plot and character development. However, there are definitely messages and themes I am attempting to convey through this film. The general idea is that there is a young man who is artistically oppressed by his overprotective mother. She has extreme restrictions on his creativity, only allowing him to see pictures or listen to music when she believes it is completely necessary for him to do so. She limits what he reads as well, only allowing him dry material, not nourishing his natural desire to expand his mind. He finally goes insane, defying his mother and going beyond the boundaries she had set for him. He escapes his mental imprisonment, launching into the realm of imagination and discovery!
I hope you will enjoy watching this film when I'm done. I am really loving how it is going so far, especially in comparison to how making a film usually goes, according to most filmmakers. I'll keep you posted if anything interesting happens in the production. Otherwise, expect to see it within the next month or so, unless I say otherwise. Thank you for reading, and please subscribe! Encouraging others to come to my blog and subscribe would be appreciated as well. Thanks again!

INFO REVOLUTION TAKING DETOUR: GET ON TRACK
Obviously, it is imminent that the society of the World is progressing towards absolute freedom of information. Why let the forces of oppression stand in our way? The reason I am concerned is that www.stage6.com recently shut down, and www.videoegg.com did the same shortly after. Who is responsible? Who do we blame? Well, although I am unsure as to whether the major recording and motion picture associations were directly related to these tragedies, it is certain that they hold, in their glory, the defeat of two major locations where video sharing once actively occurred.
I encourage you, the reader of this, and all other people to be active participants in the revolt against the ownership of information. In my supporting this, I am in fact endorsing the defiance of the law in many places worldwide, but something huge is yet to come! I mean not to say ideas should not be only owned by those who hold them, but once the idea has become information, that person has chosen to expose their idea. Although this is a risk, it is one greater to take than not to take, because if all people shared their ideas, human beings would truly be a prosperous race! We need to empower the people of Earth, to unite the world, and bring justice among every individual human being and their neighbor. This can be done! However, it will not be as easy as we have felt it has been in the past. For example, YouTube, a leading source, if not the leading source, for the sharing of art, opinions, entertainment, life and so on, is run by people who approve of removing content that is owned by someone other than who has shared it, even if that person gives the owner credit.

DROOGS: A POST FOR MY MOTHER
Sadly, I recently discovered an unsettling detail about my mother. She told me so nonchalantly, as if I knew, that she believed droogs were nothing but disgusting brutal rapists. Understanding that this woman had been raising me for nearly sixteen years now, since infancy, it shocked me to hear her say this. I thought she knew the true heart and core of what being a droog meant. I'd had so many wonderful discussions with her, but this moment was a disturbing one for me and teenagers worldwide. A droog is a victim and not a criminal. Now, Mother, I am politely suggesting that you please take the time to understand the material "A Clockwork Orange" by means of both reading the Anthony Burgess novel and viewing the film by Stanley Kubrick before you speak with me about droogs again. You clearly do not understand the context in which such brutal aggression is taking place. I forgive you for your mistake, but please, once again, try and understand that it is not the fault of the droogs for their deeds. I am sorry, but I felt the need to politely correct you, as well as potentially prevent others from making this mistake. For those of you not familiar with "A Clockwork Orange" you're in for a treat.

BACK FROM BEING A LAZY BUM
Hello, I'm back from being a lazy bum and not posting anything for like a month... maybe more. Anyway, I just thought I'd come back with a post about coming back and then begin posting again! I truly apologize for all the time I kept you waiting. I just know that there are probably millions of people out there who are so worried about me. I will take this opportunity to officially announce my return and settle the hearts and minds of those helpless souls who depend on me. I must have disappointed a lot of people. I can only ask kindly for their forgiveness, but I know it will be difficult to accept my apology, because I would have missed myself just as much as you probably did! And yes, I am a tool.
